Chakra Healing
What is Chakra Healing? In order to understand how chakra healing works, we first need to understand the principle of the ‘chakras’. The word chakra means wheel. In ancient India, these Chakras referred to spinning vortexes of energy. According to the principles of chakra healing, the human body has seven main chakras and numerous secondary chakras. These chakras are located along the spine, beginning from the base of the spine and go up to the head. Each of these chakras has its own frequency, color or tone. When a person is healthy, all his or her chakras are spinning properly without any hindrance.
When there is any obstacle in the proper motion of these spinning chakras, it results in a mental, physical, or spiritual ailment. Healing the chakras involves the removal of any obstacles to the proper movement of the chakras. When the chakras are healed and properly aligned once more, any ailments that manifested themselves as a result of the unbalanced chakras are also cured. Thus, chakra energy healing offers treatment on a physical, mental, and spiritual level.
How does Chakra Healing work? Each chakra is associated with a different part of the body. When the movement of a chakra is hindered, you begin to exhibit symptoms such as uneasiness and tiredness and feel unwell. The body part that is associated with the chakra will also often exhibit medical problems.
The first step in chakra healing is to diagnose which chakra is not spinning properly, based on the physical symptoms exhibited by a patient. This diagnosis is carried out by an expert practitioner of chakra healing. In addition to identifying the affected chakras, based on your physical or emotional symptoms, the practitioner may also use his (or her) hands, or a pendulum to pinpoint the location of the affected chakra(s).
Once the affected chakras have been identified, the treatment can begin. Treatment of the affected chakras can be carried out through a variety of methods including chakra crystal healing, chakra energy healing, chakra healing tones, Reiki, aromatherapy, or yoga techniques. The treatment adopted depends on the severity of the problem and the knowledge of the practitioner. So, it is essential to consult a well-trained and knowledgeable practitioner.
Healing the chakras is truly a holistic form of therapy. It does not rely on merely treating the symptoms, but actually goes down to the root cause of any ailment. It also promotes healing on all three levels—physical, mental, and spiritual.
