A year ago, sick and tired of being sick and tired I decided to listen to a pal. Ok, I said, let's give Yoga a try. Now I cry.why didnt I try it earlier.
Actually, it'ss a combo of Yoga and Herbs.
Yogasanas: Vajrasana, the Knee to Chest (Pavanamuktasana), The Lotus (Padmasana)
Breathing exercises: Kapalabhatti, Anuloma Viloma, Ujjayi
Herbs: I tried the following and they worked for me: Gokshura, Punarnavadi, Chicory, Dandelion, Olive and Sunflower Oil
Diet: By and large the small ones can be removed by proper diet. Those suffering from severe gall bladder inflammation must take up a fast for 2 - 3 days. Do this till the condition has cleared. During this period have nothing but water. Break your with fruit or vegetables juices carrots, beets, grapefruit, pears, lemons or grape and follow this regimen for a couple days. After that you may return to a balanced diet. Have more raw and sauted vegetables, and continue having fruit and vegetable juices. At this point make it a point to include Yogurt, cottage cheese with a table spoon of olive oil twice a day in your diet.
Lifestyle: The condition can be relieved, to a large extent if you apply hot packs or fomentation to your upper abdominal area. To further help clear constipation, have a warm water enema at body temperature. Also do plenty of physical exercise, if you wish to avoid surgery. This is necessary only if the gallstones are extremely large or they have been in the body for a long time.
Somebody suggested that persons at highest risk for gallstone formation can virtually eliminate their risk for developing gallstones by taking Kanchanar Guggulu.
Worked for me!
