Today many of us complain about lack of time, and wish to extend the 24 hr clock further more. What we fail to realize, is the reason for our complaints - that is we are stressed out. Our body has worn-out because of the various activities that we are involved in right from dawn to dusk.
Practice of Yoga is the answer to all our stress related problems.
In our busy lives, where time seems to just fly away, practice of yoga can be easily adapted to our routine. One should know what does he/she wants to achieve by practicing yoga, concentrate on the goals and choose the right technique. Remember that the benefits of yoga are realized with time and not with a crash yoga course.
Yoga can be practiced either during early morning hours or in the evening. One need not go hungry or fast or abstain from certain kind of food to practice yoga. It’s not necessary to practice yoga for prolonged hours, half an hour will be enough to get desired results. Early beginners have to initially attend yoga classes; later on they can practice at home by creating a yoga plan, by using audio and visual aids to follow along. Magazines are also available in the market, which deals with different poses of yoga.
Many of us face health problems – right from headache to muscle ache, from hyper tension to back ache. These are all related to the stress that we go through in our day to day life.
Practicing breathing exercises helps in improving breathing levels, which in turn increases body’s resistance power. Yoga also creates positive energy and makes one stronger by making muscles flexible and toned. It also helps in increasing steadiness and strength. Overall, Yoga techniques bring about happiness in an individual’s life.
Yoga does help in curing many ailments like blood pressure, headaches, back pain, stiff hips, digestive disorders, menstrual disorders, sleeplessness, hypertension, asthma, slip disc, spondilytis, mental disorders and arthritis.
Yoga aims to create a bond between the universe and the soul. A relation where the yogi is aware of himself/herself in connection with the universe!
Yoga is about overall betterment of an individual.
