Hair loss advice and yoga remedies

In addition to doing yoga asanas to combat hair loss and to promote healthy hair, it is also important that you go in for a good oil massage to help stimulate the hair roots. To provide nourishment to your hair, use freshly squeezed coconut milk all over the scalp and gently massage the milk into the hair roots with your fingertips. Massage with tiny circular motions on the scalp. A daily application of this tried and home tested remedy will help to solve the problem to a great extent.

There are certain postures in yoga that help to reduce muscle tension in the neck and this in turn prevents hair fall or graying of hair. To begin with, the most important yoga technique is known as Vajrasana. This asana is known to help in reducing the falling of hair and the growth of a healthy mane.

Vajrasana - Firstly kneel down and sit with your knees under the body. Let the feet be parallel to each other as you sit maintaining that the knees are not apart. As you sit place your hands on the knees. You can close your eyes as you keep a straight posture and breathe in a normal manner. After a few breaths in the sitting position, relax the hands and let it go limp. Release the weight of your body on the legs and lie on your back while stretching the legs ahead of you. Now place your hands behind the body at the back and relax in this position. Rest in this manner till the count of 10 and continue once again the entire process.
