Tea Tree Oil Treatment And Benefits

Aromatherapy is now more popular today than ever before. People are now more concerned about the side effects and the cumulative effect of chemical medicines and they are trying to decrease the usage of such medicines in the favor of all natural methods of treatment. The natural methods of treatment include herbal remedies, acupuncture, and aromatherapy. The latter is now used extensively as a daily routine to prevent daily ailments like headache, constipation and insomnia.
One of the oldest and most popular
essential oils
that is used in a wide range of aromatherapies is
melaleuca
tea tree oil
. This oil is extracted from the tea tree and it was first used in old Chinese medicine. This
essential oil
has proven benefits in the treatment of different ailments.
Tea tree oil dandruff
treatment is now widely used by people around the world instead of harmful chemicals. It is easy to use, as you can add 10 to 15 drops to a bottle of your favorite shampoo. Invert the bottle several times then use daily. This will remove the dandruff from your hair. If you do not want to add it to the whole bottle of shampoo, you can add two drops in your hand with the shampoo and apply it to your hair. If you want to see quicker results, you can add a few drops of tea tree oil to a cup of extra virgin olive oil and stir well. Take a small amount and rub it in your scalp before washing your hair with ordinary shampoo.
Tea tree oil remedies
are used in daily ailments other than dandruff. It can be used for the treatment of acne and abrasions and it can also used be as an after shave lotion.
Tea tree oil acne treatment
is preferred rather than chemical acne treatments because the acne is always associated with inflammation. If you want to treat your acne, you can add tea tree oil directly on the affected areas of your body or you can add several drops to three or four glasses of water to form a facial cleanser. Use one of the two methods daily and you will see your acne disappear in a short period of time.
Tea tree oil is used to treat other ailments like colds sores as well. If you want to treat cold sores using essential oils then you can prepare a tea tree oil treatment for cold sores. This treatment will not remove the cold sores but it will reduce the pain drastically.
